Making Waves - Prologue
 Jessamine and Miles walked down the beach hand in hand, laughing as they watched the waves crash against the empty beach.  They cautiously avoided the ocean's salty waves and sat down to watch as the sun began to set on the horizon, shining the the radiant light that reflected on the crystal-clear water in beautiful rays. They sat for a moment in a peaceful silence, just watching.

"The guard almost caught us this time Miles," Jessamine whispered solemnly. "We can't afford to get caught here."

    Frustrated and tired, I fly to the opposite side of the roof to regroup. When I land I tuck my wings back in carefully, just in case a human comes along. As I sit here I tell myself that I will find the chair and prove to Alec that I don't need him. "It was his fault that we were noticed by the Demons." I think to myself.            Aiden orders a possessed man to catch me and lay me on the ground. He then orders a dozen women to chain me to one of the giant pillars so that I will not escape. Aiden approaches me with a sword pointed at my throat.

"Well, well, if it is not Athena Raze. I find it incredibly rude that Alec abandoned you after you've saved his pathetic life so many times." Aiden croons.

         Once it happened, I never forgot. In fact, I've remembered for over a millennium. On August 18, 2020, the war between the Angels and the Demons advanced which changed my life forever.

         It was just like any ordinary day, the Angels and Demons were arguing at Brina Point (the boundary between the territories) and I was watching from behind a bush.            An employee dressed as a nun sits in the chair and two other possessed employees stand on the ground, staring up at her.

 "Ha! I was right! " Alec exclaims, before I can hush him.

       This turns the attention of the possessed mortals to us. The employee dressed as the nun bellows, "SEIZE THEM!" Alec and I turn to flee, but Aiden blocks our path.

"You really didn't think I'd let you get away that easily, did you?" he taunts as he turns to Alec, "Now I get to kill you, just as I should have a long time ago."

... this is simply amazing!! When I saw the thumbnail, all I thought was 'oh my goodness... THATS SO AWESOME!' Love the designs and the blue lashes!
